The past couple days the weather here has been much warmer and we’re finally out of the freeze. Today though, it’s a dreary and rainy day. So I head on over to Weather.com, as I do every day, to find out what the forecast is for the rest of the day.
What do I find? They’ve unveiled a new interactive weather map feature using Microsoft Virtual Earth.
The link above will take you to the map for my area to give you a quick look at it. I must say I do like it much better than the standard map, but I wish that the default mode would be set to Satellite.
You can control the transparency of the radar and also whether you see just the radar, just clouds, or both radar and clouds. There are some great controls and I’m liking the new interactive weather map.
What do you think?
