Mobile Web Design

Over the past year I’ve been developing a project (all in theory right now) that is focused on using mobile technology to tap into the mobile user market.
I came across Cameron Moll’s book, “Mobile Web Design” and had to get a copy. It arrived in the mail today and I love the cover design and size of the book.
As I work through the book, expect to see some mobile web design focused posts and links to some other mobile web resources and ideas.
I do want to share one quote from page 11 of the introduction (emphasis mine).
Nearly three-quarters of people are avoiding the mobile Internet because of high costs and poor experiences of the technology, according to research published today. The findings highlight the need for firms to develop mobile-compatible content, said experts.Phil Mucaster, “Public Is Shunning the Mobile Web”

Looking forward to it!
I very much like the new design, by the way.
