2009 Web Design Trends

Smashing Magazine has a couple great posts that present Web Design Trends for 2009.

The first post presents recent developments, new design elements and new graphic approaches.  This covers things like embossing letters, rich user interfaces, big typography, carousels, and PNG transparency.

The second post covers new layouts, visual approaches and design elements.

Overall, it’s a great look at web design trends to look for in 2009, and to also implement in your upcoming work.
