BuddyPress for WordPress MU now RC-1
If you haven’t been by lately, take a trip over to BuddyPress.org to check out the new site. The new BuddyPress website was been built from the ground up using WordPress and BuddyPress together. The new site also acts as a complete developer network. They’ve got a new plugin repository, theme browser, developer landing page, groups and more. I’ve been waiting for BuddyPress to finally get to RC-1 and it’s here!
BuddyPress is a great tool that transforms an install of WordPress MU into a social networking monster! It’s a great set of plugins that add distinct features to your WordPress MU website that focuses on letting members socially interact. Everything can be custom themed just like a WordPress blog and everything is bundled with a nice default theme so you can get going right away once the install is done.
