Well, I come across this report today from Baekdal.com while doing a little research for a project I’m working on.

The topic of the report is great. We all know the age of 800×600 resolution is withering away, but that doesn’t mean anything about the size of a viewers browser. So the question about what is the common browser window size, is a valid and interesting question.

The report overall is good, but the data only comes from 5 different sites, Baekdal.com and 5 fashion sites… and not even a diverse 5 sites. The report is great if my target audience is comprised of the same people who visit those sites.

Now I’m not shooting it down, because it does offer some valid information. I would just like to see some broader-scale research on the idea. What do you think?
