A little about Vernon...

Hey there everybody, I’m Vernon. I’ve been a full-time freelance web designer since 2002 and can honestly say it’s been a great journey.

If you’re interested, take a look at my services site and let me help you with your project.

Weebly is an online website creation tool written with tons of Ajax that is geared to giving web users an easy to use drag and drop interface.

We’re trying to make a tool that’s easy enough for the majority of web users to use, and guides the user towards creating a complete compliant web site (not just an online word doc).

Weebly has gained funding and moved to the bay area so we should expect some interesting news coming out from them soon. The video below tells the story better than words itself.

Just yesterday I posted about how Jonathan Snook was at it again creating a Prototype 1.5.0 Cheat Sheet. Guess what? He’s at it again with a Mootools r.83 Cheat Sheet.

The cheat sheet is color coded to match the four main categories that are in the Mootools download section and within the documentation. Way to go Jonathan!

There have been some changes over on the Google Ajax Search API site. The website has be reorganized including the examples to show different ways to use the Ajax Search API web search(including custom search engine, news search, and blog search), local search, and video search).

There have also been some new code samples added which is a great way to learn to use the API. If you don’t want to code, here’s a link to the wizards.
